DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE FOR THE INDIAN COMMONWEALTH
Too long has our nation waited to perform the necessary split from a corrupt and crumbling empire condemned to a war destructive to the basic principles of humanity, and which, through the flagrant evils of imperialism, has forced us, a free people, to support them in its futile military engagements, has marked us as exiles and inferiors in the land of our birth, has forced upon us customs abhorrable to many, has taxed the most basic human needs to fund the enterprises of a foreign people a continent away, has imprisoned and murdered those with the courage ton speak the truth, and has partaken in a war in which it did not only assure its self destruction , but has damned us to live in the wastelands which it has left behind in its arrogance. Now we cut loose the shackles that have bound us for all these years, and step into the rays of freedom.
Recognizing the region known as India to be a diverse mosaic of varying races and religions, we intentionally dub ourselves a commonwealth comprised of autonomous and independent states , each free to govern as they wish within the boundaries set by our Constitution, more closely resembling a body such as the European Union than a single nation. In due course a referendum shall be held for these minorities whether Buddhist, Sikh, or Muslim to become either a Protectorate of The Commonwealth or an independent nation, and boundaries shall be drawn based on the results in a Partition of land soon after. Our government will commence work on infrastructure for the educational, agricultural, and social welfare of the people.
